Join Catherine from Scott & Cat in the Afternoon September 19th - 28th on a mission trip to China!
Cat will be traveling with Show Hope and will explore God's heart for orphans.
Most of the trip will be spent at Maria's Big House of Hope in Luoyang, a six-story medical care center for orphans with special needs. Activities will include coming alongside the nannies to play and interact with the children and small work projects as needed.
There will also be time for sightseeing. This includes visiting the Great Wall of China, Tiananmen Square, and Olympic Village in Beijing.
There's room for 18 WCIC listeners to go on the trip. If you're interested, you need to...
- Complete an online application
- Submit a $500 deposit to Show Hope
- Be 16 or older
The deadline to apply is April 21st.
Applicants will be notified by April 25th if they're chosen for the trip. If you apply and are not selected, the $500 check will be void and shredded.
The total cost of the trip is estimated at $3,900 (dependent on airfare). This includes roundtrip domestic and international flights from Peoria, a team T-shirt, Chinese visa, and all meals, lodging, insurance, interpreters, transportation, sightseeing, etc. in China. It does NOT include passport fees, if applicable, immunizations, excess baggage charges, souvenirs, or personal snacks.
