Go Out and Play in 2010!

According to the National Wildlife Federation, the average child in America spends as little as FOUR MINUTES a day outdoors! Isn't that amazing? So, Jeremy and Jill are challenging themselves to get outside more in 2010 with their four-year-old, Alyssa. And, they want you to join in the fun. Send them a picture of you playing outside (along with your friends and family if you want) this winter. If your photo gets posted right here Jeremy and Jill will send you an eco-friendly 91.5 WCIC shopping bag filled with a station t-Shirt, bumper stickers and other goodies. (One bag per household, please!)

 Have fun playing!!

Candy Locascio took this photo after making a snow friend to show to her friend in Australia (via the internet). They take pictures of themselves to show each other the kind of weather they're having. When we're having winter, they're having summer, so they both kind of rub it in depending on what's going on weather-wise.

Thanks to Molly Glad for these fun photos. Her four-year-old Lucas and her 23-month-old Wyatt experienced their first snow this year since the family just moved to Illinois from California. Lucas insisted on riding his bike in the white stuff while Wyatt couldn't stop eating it! By the way, Molly says bikes go REALLY fast when they hit ice!
