Our MOPS group is a smaller one, averaging 12-18 awesome moms of various denominations. Come join us!! New for 2012... We are adding MOMSnext to our group! MOPS (Mothers Of Preschoolers) is a group of moms that meets regularly to celebrate the joys of motherhood and to encourage each other through the challenges of this special season of life. MOMSnext was added to include topics/conversation for those moms who have school-age children. Our group is open to all mothers with children from birth through elementary school. We also offer childcare via our Moppets Group. MOPPETS is safe, loving, and engaging childcare for your child as you relax and enjoy your time at MOPS/MOMSnext. We meet on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month.

The American Cancer Society is recruiting men and women for a landmark research study – Cancer Prevention Study-3 (CPS-3) – to better understand ways to prevent cancer. Individuals may participate if they are between the ages of 30 and 65 years old, have never been diagnosed with cancer, and are willing to make a long-term commitment to the study (which involves completing follow-up surveys periodically over the next 20-30 years).

The Men's Bible Study Fellowship will be meeting at Lakeside Christian Church (just off Toronto Rd) on Tuesday evenings beginning Feb 5th. We will be studying Philippians, Ruth, and Colossians. Please come any night, and we will provide an introduction and an opportunity to register men and their school age children (1st - 6th grade currently).
