Donations include items from A to Z! Most clothes and books are 25 cents each. Many items only 50 cents. Concession stand: Donuts, hot dogs, chips, popcorn, & soda, coffee, iced tea.

Hosted by the Parkway Mission Ministry. All funds raised will be used for local and non-local mission work.

Tickets to this pancake event are $5. They are available in advance by calling Shelly. Tickets will also be available at the door! The proceeds will be applied to Shelly's goal of raising $2,620* for St. Jude.

*Why $2,620? That's $100 per mile for every mile Shelly plans to run in this year's Chicago Marathon (which happens to be scheduled on her brother Mark's birthday--Mark is a former St. Jude patient and 10-year cancer survivor). Hope to see you all there! Please invite friends & family as well.

Women Overcoming is #2 in a series of Restoring Broken Pieces. These are seminars designed to help women put their lives back together a piece at a time, like a jigsaw puzzle. Women Overcoming will show three examples by our three speakers of women of the Bible who overcame in their own lives to be whole, unique women of God.

Doors open at 8:00 a.m. for a continental breakfast, and the seminar begins at 9:00 a.m., concluding at 12:00 Noon. All of these seminars are FREE to the public with registration (please call to register).

Peoria Heights Congregational Church is having it's First Annual Blessing of the Bikes and Hot Rods, So bring your motorcycle, hot rod cars or trucks, bicycles, ATVs, etc. to the Church and get it blessed by Pastor Karl, and start the riding season off with God's Blessing. We want to keep everyone SAFE, so plan on coming out and enjoying a fun-filled day. There is also a car wash to benefit the Church's youth program, (donations will be accepted for car wash).

How many muscles does it take to walk? One--your heart! Join MDA Muscle Walk

More than 300 MDA families, friends, caregivers, and supporters, will participate in the first annual Bloomington, IL 2013 ALS Muscle Walk at The Normal Cornbelters Corn Crib. The fun event is expected to raise more than $30,000 to provide local services for those affected by ALS.

Register online or by calling the MDA office, or show up and register at the door. Registration begins at 10:00 a.m.

Individuals and teams are encouraged to raise at least $74 in donations, the cost to fund one minute of MDA research seeking treatments and cures for muscle diseases.

There will be two Commencement services.

At the 10:00 a.m. service, LCU will honor the students receiving Associate and Bachelor degrees from both the School of Undergraduate Studies and the Hargrove School of Adult & Graduate Studies.

At the 1:00 p.m. service, LCU will honor students receiving Master's and Doctoral degrees from both the Hargrove School of Adult & Graduate Studies and Lincoln Christian Seminary.

Family and friends are welcomed.
