1-Pray my mother is healed of diabetes. 2-Pray my brother is healed of dilated ascending aorta. 3-Pray my father is healed of parkinsons disease and has good mobility. 4-Pray a confidential need of mine is met.

I am at a loss as to what to do. I feel so overwhelmed! We have a rental house and have been fighting issues with water in the basement since we purchased it 2 years ago. We paid a significant amount of money this past winter to have the basement floor dug up and a dewatering system put in place. This system is supposed to guarantee a dry basement.... Thought it was working, but just got word from our tenants that there is water in the basement yet again! Please pray for resolution to this issue. This problem has cost us thousands of dollars in repairs already. I just don't know what the solution is. Lord, please give us the answer.

After reading many of the other prayer requests, which describe such pain and deep needs, I am humbled to even ask this...but my son has had many months of unemployment and depression.. the one thing that seems to bring him any joy and fulfillment is his photography. His detailed/technical/artistic ability seems to shine in his photos. He and I work together, and it's wonderful when he has clients. He does on-location, so weather is crucial. God has given him 5 families this spring...but after June 1st, we do not have any appts. Please pray that God would give Jon appts. for June, July and August. That we wil hear soon from more families/individuals. Thank you.

Jeff, a young man in his 20s and a new believer in the church struggles with addictions--mainly pot addiction. He wants to do what is right. Please pray for him to be strong, stay on the path, and also to hang out with friends who don't do drugs. (Very important!) Jeff is a really sweet guy. My husband and I like him a lot. He has some issues with mental, has anguish and much turmoil in his mind. I do worry that he may be almost suicidal. Please pray for him to have the Peace that Defies all understanding. Satan is the enemy that comes to kill, steal and destroy. He'd love for Jeff to fail but would you stand in the gap with us to pray for Jeff--that in Jesus' Name, he will succeed. And it won't be hard. Years ago (1980s) my husband smoked cigarettes. It is hard to quit. But with God's help he quit immediately. He had a brand new pack of cigarettes, gave them to the Pastor (who threw them in the trash) and never looked back. God will also help Jeff to quit smoking Pot. Thanks for praying. Please would you pray for my friend's husband, for his salvation and for him to quit drinking. My friend is strong in her faith. He told her he went to church as a boy but now he is a scoffer and an unbeliever. They've been married 15 years and have a 13 year old daughter. My friend is strong in her faith, but her husband makes their life a living hell. She is so brave but gets exhausted from living in a tornado. Every night he's at the bars. Then his behavior is really bad when he is home. He is moody, angry, mean, and disrespectful--not only to his wife but his daughter. He needs to quit drinking. Thank you for praying for this family. She is one of my best friends. I care about her and worry about her. I want to shout out a big praise and give thanks for our wedding anniversary yesterday. We celebrated 6 yrs. on May 24. My husband took me out to dinner, bought me roses and we exchanged cards. Like most couples, we've had our ups and downs. Sometimes we really struggle. Recovering alcoholic. Sober 13 months. I asked the lord to come into my life 1 year ago. Been struggling in my walk with god. This morning I got drunk and do not remember any of it. I need your prayers. I dont like myself. And don't know how to trust god. I have had thoughts about ending my life lately. I don't like who I've become. Please keep me in your prayers.

My 13 year old boy is back in the hospital for suicide thoughts, and depression. My husband has liver disease, but is holding on. We also have a lot of family issues. I confronted my mom on an issue, my mom confronted my sister, and all she cares about is that I told my mom and not what the issue was. Satan has blinded her, and turned her from me. I was just concerned about her children and she has written me off.

I pray for all my family daily, my friends, and strangers. It is easier to pray for someone I don't know personally, rather then my sister. Please pray that I pray for her with a clean heart, and not resentment. Also please pray that my son will find God's peace. He is a Christian, but when you are clinically depressed it is hard to see sometimes. Also please pray that my husband will not be in pain or exhausted so we can have family time this summer with both of our children.

Also, their is a 3 year old girl in Texas that needs a lot of prayer. Her mom is trying to get full custody and child support, and the girls biological dad said that her new dad is doing harmful things to her. Now, the shrink has found the child has said both dads are harming her. This is something no child should ever go through. The grandma is my friend, and is beside herself. Please pray that they can resolve this, and that the child will be protected in God's love. Thanks for all your prayers!

My husband lost his good job two years ago this weekend due to a DUI. The past two years have been filled with lots of tears, struggles, and defeat. We know that this is all part of God's plan for our lives, but are praying that these trials end soon. He has been able to find employment, but it is not enough to support our family of 6. We are praying that God has mercy on our family, and opens the doors for my husband to find a good paying job close to home. I pray that he continues to surround him with good Christian influences as well. My husband is a good man, father, and husband that just lost his way. He is on the right track now, but all the constant rejection and labeling is very wearing on him. Please pray that our family will be blessed with a good job very soon, and that my family will continue to grow in God's amazing grace!

I would like prayers for my cousin Leslie.

I got this email from my Aunt Linda yesterday, 'Leslie has been sick for 3 weeks, fighting a staph infection called MRSA. She has been going to the hospital every day for 2 weeks where they put an IV in her wrist with strong meds. Then they doubled the meds. Every other day they drew blood to make sure her kidneys could take it. The goal is to get rid of it before it hits her blood stream and organs. A few days ago Leslie got excited, as they thought it was finally responding. As of today, the doctor said there is no real progess. He is sending her on to an Infectious Disease doctor in Quincy. They stopped all IV drips. However, the doctor in Quincy cannot see her until June 5th, and this infection is climbing from her forehead into her hairline. Paul and I want to take her to Mayo, Iowa City...somewhere. She sees Dr. McKenney on Friday and wants to wait until then. The point is, Leslie really needs prayers. She has been fighting this for 3 weeks and is making no headway. Leslie is taking this in stride, but worn out and taking care of her family.'

I saw my only nephew, Kirk , about 2 weeks ago. When I saw him I shared with him that I really would love to see his children. Kirk's wife does not want anything to do with me, and she refuses for me to ever meet their children

Paul (my only brother) and I finally reconciled our differences in February 2013, and I received the most precious birthday card from him this past week for my birthday. I am thanking our Lord for bringing my brother back into my life.

God placed a young man in our lives, Emad. He immigrated legally to America at the age of 19 years old from Egypt. Leaving behind all his family in Egypt to come to America. Soon he came to visit us in Illinois. He now lives with us. One last thing - A very close friend of ours passed away on Monday night.It was expected, as he was diagnosed with cancer in January, but he was only 56 years old.

I wanted to give you a quick update on Steve. He has been moved from one hospital into another. He is being weaned off of the ventilator, and may be completely done with it by next week. He is still catatonic most of the time but he has his moments when he will do what he is asked. He did mouth the words I love you to his wife. Praise God!
