We had to buy a part for our pickup today. One parts place told my husband it was a dealer only part, so he called Dodge and they said it would cost $59. We are on a super tight budget. $59 might as well be $500, so my husband decided do some price shopping. He went to another parts place and they had the part and for less than HALF price. Praise God. Also, we sold furniture today for $135. We live on the edge. We live by faith, not by sight. Every time, God comes through. God provides for us and watches over us. It's amazing to see the blessings unfold. We are in awe. My husband and I just want to give a shout out to God. Thank you 'Daddy God'! I want to Praise the Lord for my friend Pam. Would you please pray for her? She has some health issues but mainly, mental anguish. She is in her 50s, been divorced awhile. She works at a little burger joint and makes minimum wage. She lives in a small cramped apartment (subsidized housing) but thankful for a roof over her head. Pam has a lot of depression -- this I figured out from her emails to me. But she just told me in an email that she has OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder), bipolar and mania. I've been friends with Pam approx. 8 years. We met online when she asked for prayer and I am a prayer warrior. I stepped up to the plate and prayed for her and made a friend too. I value Pam's friendship. She is my sister in Christ. She's a believer, but her mind is in upheaval so much she has a lot of turmoil. Which I would describe as living in a tornado. One good thing, Pam has a close friend--his name is Bob. She enjoys hanging out with Bob and can be herself. He's not a boy friend, he is just a pal. Anyway, Pam needs the cloak of peace only Christ can give. Thanks for praying for Pam. I need prayer for my marriage. I have been married for 27 years. My husband left a couple of months ago to find his "happines" out in the world. I love him and miss him very much. I cry and pray for him every day several times. I pray God will touch his heart, soul and mind to come to him and live the life God wants him to live. Also, that he will come home to my family and myself. Please pray for God to work his miracle in our lives.

I currently work for a unit of local government in the Peoria area and am having a difficult time mentally coming to work. I am so disheartened and disenchanted with my job that I have even caught myself telling my wife, "Well, maybe today is the day I am going to get fired so we can move on." I have been working for the past month to find another job, submitting resumes nationwide, and so far have had very little response. I am concerned because of lingering downturn that layoffs will start next year, and I could get caught in them. Hence, this concern is the reason I am looking for greener pastures. My prayer request is that I would find favor with an employer to move my family out of state and into a more enjoyable career. I would ask for wisdom for making the correct choices and seeking what God would have for me, but moreso for my family. Your prayers are greatly appreciated and coveted.

I have requested prayer for my best friend in recent weeks because she shut me out of her life for about six months. We finally got to talk on June 6 and everything has improved since then. There is still a lot of distance between us, but, at least, now she is communicating with me again. Less than two months ago, she started dating a guy and within three weeks, she was already talking about getting married to him. Neither of them can afford to be on their own and he is only working a part-time job. She is madly in love with him and is overlooking a lot of things. He does treat her well, but that doesn't mean that he is the guy for her. Our church just finished Vacation Bible School on Friday and she was starting to disregard her co-director commitments to VBS preparations so that she could spend time with him instead. Other people have noticed that her behavior has changed and that her priorities seem to be out of whack. Now, that VBS is over, she is saying that she is going to give up her other ministry positions in the church so that she is free to go to his church. When asked about it, she cannot say that God is telling her to do this and that she wants to "follow her heart." She has people very concerned for her wellbeing because she doesn't seem to be thinking clearly about this. She is meeting with one of the other ministry leaders tonight to discuss her wanting to give up all of her church responsibilities. Please pray that this other ministry leader can get through to her and that my best friend will be open to hearing the truth before she makes some decisions at our church and especially with this new boyfriend that could cause her a lot of harm. Thank you for praying! We care so much for her and don't want to see her ruin her life!

Praise report. I had posted a prayer in total frustration regarding having to quit school due to money issues and having trouble with my externship.I had some unexpected money come my way and was able to pay my school tuition off before starting my externship. The externship is finally over;satan worked overtime but prayer and endurance won! I will graduate from trade school Friday; now just need prayers to find the right job in my field of study-Medical Coding/Billing/Insurance, so I can leave my retail job. Would also like prayers that my retail job will start giving me more hrs.

I'm just asking for prayers for my husband, Mark, my son, Josh, and my daughter, Maddi, to rededicate their lives to God. And maybe I need to do a little of that myself. We are all Christians, yet we have walked away from the life that we know he wants us to live. Thank you, each and every one praying for us!

It is getting more and more difficult to keep an open heart and mind. I know God is with us. I know in His time. I know prayer and trusting in Him are the best artillery to use. Finances are taking a toll. Don't know where to turn. Thoughts turn to what is going to go next? The bank has threatened to close our checking account. Where can we get help? I just need to catch up on the bills and unexpected bills such as the truck which also needs tires. There is one bill I thought would be paid off this month and found out it won't be paid off until August. I don't know if we can hold out that long! My blood pressure is up and my stomach is in constant knots. If I could cut the cell phones I would. Hard to break a contract because you still have to pay. Please pray or please suggest a solution that won't be a loan.

Debra, a friend of mine in her 50s, needs a job desperately. She has had some interviews this week. Tomorrow she has another one. That is a job where she would test drive new cars and write reports. She also applied for two dispatcher jobs, but they've not made a decision yet. One is working from home, which Debra really enjoys and has done before. Debra has faith that she will soon have a job--one that she enjoys and has a future. It's a bit harder to find work when you are older. Please pray for God to open the door for 'her' perfect job! I need help to understand God's direction for my life as far as my work. I have an opportunity to change from a physically demanding and emotionally stressful job to an office job. I'm not sure if the office job is for me or not...I would have a lot, lot, lot of information to learn and digest which would be stressful also, as well as being in a supervisory postion over my peers.

Umar Mulinde is a former Muslim Sheikh whose ministry in winning Muslims to Christ so disturbed local Muslims in Uganda that they attacked him with a bucket of acid. He lost one eye and half of his face. Please remember this faithful witness in prayer. Thank you.

Please pray for Isaac. He's leaving today on a mission trip to Cameroon Africa. For those who are not familiar with Cameroon, it is in west Central Africa, bordered by Nigeria to the west; Chad to the NE, Central African Republic to the east; and Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, and the Republic of the Congo to the south. Cameroon is often referred to as "Africa in miniature" for its geological and cultural diversity.
