Notes	The Muscular Dystrophy Association will be visiting Pekin area for our Annual Executive Lock-Up, with all money raised helping LOCAL children and adults with neuromuscular diseases. MDA will be locking-up local business executives and sending them to “jail” at Avanti’s Restaurant on Thursday, March 18th. There will be exquisite food, great networking, and the opportunity to provide help and hope to families living with neuromuscular diseases!!! Sign up to be a jailbird or refer someone to be locked up by calling 217-351-1853 or emailing ejones@mdausa.org The Muscular Dystrophy Association is dedicated to providing services to those with any one of over 40 neuromuscular diseases and funding valuable worldwide research to find cures. MDA provides a variety of services: clinics, support groups, assistance for wheelchair purchases and repairs, and annual summer camp for kids. We support over 150 families in Tazewell County alone, and nearly $.78 of every dollar goes directly into the services that we provide. We are challenging each of our jailbirds to raise enough to send one Central Illinois child to MDA Summer camp this year! It costs $800 to send one child to camp for a week.
