Project Sunshine: Foster Home Edition

You can help make a difference in the lives of two families who are already making a difference in central Illinois!

WCIC is teaming up with The Forgotten Initiative for Project Sunshine: Foster Home Edition.

We'll be making repairs and improvements to the homes of two foster families in Peoria.

Volunteers (ages 13 and up) are needed to help with deep cleaning, de-cluttering, painting, landscaping, plumbing and electrical work, and more.

There will be a kick-off meeting for all volunteers at FamilyCore in Peoria on Saturday, April 13th at 9:00 a.m. This will be a time to pick up registration packets and sign up for specific jobs.

Then, the renovation of the homes will take place on May 17th and 18th.
