Hearts at Home Conference: No More Perfect Moms

Hearts at Home Conference: No More Perfect Moms

Date: Fri. Mar 15, 2013 8:30 am
Duration: All Day
Location: Peoria Area

Everyone is the perfect parent... until they have children. The picture-perfect images most women hold in their minds when it comes to raising children often fade when reality hits. And when life doesn’t measure up to expectations, it’s easy for moms to feel like failures and ask, “what is wrong with me?”

The 2013 Hearts at Home conference, No More Perfect Moms, intends to show moms there is absolutely nothing wrong. The frustrations, disappointments, and struggles that many women face are completely normal. This event will help moms learn to love their real, but imperfect, lives.

The main sessions feature keynote speakers Candace Cameron Bure, who is a mom, producer, New York Times’ best-selling author and actress, and best known for her role as D.J. on Full House, and Jill Savage, author of more than seven books and CEO and Founder of Hearts at Home. Mom's Night Out welcomes Anita Renfroe, well-known for her pop culture parody of the William Tell Overture-Mom Style, who continues to make people laugh with her off-the-wall insights, music, and her trademark pop culture as she tours and routinely sells out venues across the United States. Special guest singer Meredith Andrews will join her.

With more than 30 workshops, such as Seven Habits of Highly Effective Moms, Real Ways to Connect With Your Kids, Boys R Us--Raising Boys from 2 to 22, and Wise Women Raising Wiser Daughters, women have the opportunity to design the day around their own needs.
