Jingle Bell Run/Walk (Sat. Dec 7, 2013 8:00 am)
Chosen as one of the Most Incredible Themed Races, the Jingle Bell Run/Walk for Arthritis is a fun and festive way to kick off your holidays by helping others! Wear a holiday-themed costume. Tie jingle bells to your shoelaces. Raise funds to fight arthritis, the nation's leading cause of disability. Run or walk a 5 kilometer route with your team members, and celebrate the season by giving.
Online registration will be available through 3:00 p.m. December 6th
Race Day Registration and Packet Pickup is at 8:00 a.m.

Red Cross Bloodmobile (Mon. Dec 9, 2013 1:00 pm - 7:00 pm)
Delavan American Legion Auxillary #382 will be hosting a blood drive. the gift of a blood donation could help save three lives. machines to collect double red blood cells will be available. Please call for an appointment. Walk-ins will be welcome. Photo ID needed.
Ohio Schools Holiday Bazaar (Sat. Dec 14, 2013 9:00 am)
Come join us at Ohio Schools Holiday Bazaar at Bureau County Fairgrounds in Princeton. Finish your holiday shopping at our craft show, get your picture taken with Santa, enter our raffle, and enjoy lunch with your friends.
2013 Adopt-a-Senior for Christmas (Sun. Dec 22, 2013 2:30 pm)
Imagine if you were a senior citizen in a nursing home and had no friends or relatives to visit or contact you. ANY holiday would not be that pleasant. THIS Christmas Neighbor Love wants to brighten the day of a WHOLE BUNCH of valuable seniors. Adopt-a-Senior for Christmas is a GREAT way to let a valuable senior know that someone still loves them.
Neighbor Love will be delivering gift bags of goodies to seniors during a Christmas party. Our goal is provide a gift bag to EVERY senior in the Sharon Health Care Elms totaling 80 seniors. The gift bags will include: skin lotion/shaving cream, socks, a poinsettia, a piece of fruit, a hand made Christmas Card and a stuffed animal/puzzle book. (exact contents of gift bag are subject to change depending upon product availability and amount of donations received) The investment to ADOPT a Senior for Christmas is just $20 per gift bag. You can sponsor as many seniors as you would like. A donation of ANY amount is appreciated. DONATE and VOLUNTEER online.
DEADLINE for Adopting-a-Senior for Christmas is Saturday, December 21st. PLEASE spread the word about this to ALL of your friends and family. The more exposure we get will help us meet our goal. If you would like to join us, you are welcome to join us to deliver your bag to all the Seniors. Near the end of the party we will distribute Christmas cards/gifts to the residents who do not attend the party. We will also need volunteers to help assemble the gift bags at the Sharon Health Care Elms at 1pm on Sunday, December 22nd.
Please let us know if: 1) you plan on ADOPTING a Senior. Donate & Adopt-a-Senior online 2) You will be helping us assemble the bags. (Sun. Dec. 22 at 1pm at Sharon Health Care Elms) 3) You will be joining us to deliver the gift bags. 4) Donating desserts and drinks for the party. (indicate how you can help in your RSVP) PLEASE spread the word about this to ALL of your friends and family. The more exposure we get will help us meet our goal!
