The Henry Decoy Show will have its 48th annual show at Henry High School.

 

Breakfast and lunch will be served.

 

There are 90 tables of exhibitors and thousands of items related to the Illinois River Decoy Carving and Duck Hunting genre. There will also be misc items at the show. Bring your collectibles in for a free valuation.

 

Come see our show! It is $5 admission, kids under 12 free.

It will be a video program led by Dave Ramsey followed by small discussion groups. The course starts Sunday, January 10th, 2016, 6:30-8:00 p.m. All you have to do is register to attend. The cost of the materials is $93, and they may be purchased at the first class.

GriefShare is a 13-week Bible-based DVD and discussion series for anyone who is grieving the loss of a loved one. This is a support group that will provide a safe and caring place to meet with others on the difficult journey of grief. They understand the heartaches and questions of loss. The DVD's feature clips from counselors, pastors, and others who offer practical suggestions and reassurance.

Being a mom is beautiful and hard and we get that sometimes you just need a safe space to breathe. We meet each 1st & 3rd Tuesday Sept-May, plus informal activities during the summer…and several Moms Night Outs throughout the year. Free childcare is available for children ages 6 years & under. Community Bible Study, Peoria Evening Class 2015-2016, invites you to study the book of Isaiah!

 

The mission of Community Bible Study is to make disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ in our communities through caring, in-depth Bible study, available to all men and women of every denomination and entry level of understanding.

 

This 30-week bible study will take place at the location listed above. (Thursday evenings, September 10-May 19).

 

Annual registration fee: $35

 

Suggested WEEKLY Lesson Donations: $2 ($60 per year) (Tax Deductible)

 

Scholarships are available.

 

This study of Isaiah highlights God's power, sovereignty, holiness, trustworthiness, and salvation. It answers questions about life, human nature, and God. A historical account illuminating what was happening in Isaiah's time and speaking to the situations of our day and even beyond. We will study that the judgment of God is best understood in the context of His righteousness and justice. It is truth for the past, today, and tomorrow. Don't miss the blessings of studying God's Word in fellowship with others. ".. He opened their minds to understand the Scriptures.." Luke 24:45

 

Class members will rejoice in the exciting prophecies concerning the Messiah and find comfort in Isaiah's words of encouragement about a glorious future. (Study references the English Standard Version of God's Word.)

Safe Families for Children is an international movement of volunteers and churches, motivated by compassion and biblical hospitality, that help families experiencing a crisis and have no support. Host Families temporarily provide a home and care for a child while the parent is able to get back on their feet. Parents also receive relational and spiritual support from other volunteers. Safe Families for Children seeks to prevent child abuse, prevent children from having to enter child welfare and helps to strengthen and preserve families.
