Come wave to the WCIC station van in the parade!

 

The theme for the 2015 Bloomington Labor Day Parade is "For more than ourselves," emphasizing community service and involvement.

 

The Parade marches on Monday, September 7 at 10 a.m., line up at 9 a.m. on Front Street in Downtown Bloomington. The parade will then proceed west on Front Street to Lee Street, south on Lee Street to Wood Street, and then west on Wood Street to Miller Park.

 

The parade features union marching units, high school bands, construction equipment, community organizations, antique cars and elected officials and aspirants for political office.

 

To register for the parade, complete the attached form and return to the Trades & Labor Assembly by going to the website provided above and downloading the registration form PDF. There is no registration fee required.

Guest Author and Speaker, Jill Savage, founder of "Hearts at Home" & International Speaker and Breast Cancer Survivor.

 

She will reflect on her experience with breast cancer as she presents on "It is not well with my circumstances, but it is well with my soul".

 

This prayer will also feature "Women of Vision, and "The Bloomington area concert choir for homeschoolers."

 

This service offers prayers, readings, and music that encourages the soul during and after the challenges of breast cancer.
