Prison is not a place known for hope; not usually, at least. But on June 9, you helped change that by making it possible for Unspoken to perform inside Hill Correctional Center in Galesburg!
Approximately 350 inmates attended two concerts that afternoon in the prison gymnasium. The men heard songs filled with encouraging lyrics and reminders that they are loved.
This was the fourth event made possible entirely by WCIC listener donations (following two at Logan Correctional Center in 2017 and 2018 and one at Taylorville Correctional Center in 2018)!
The men seemed to have a great time, giving the band two standing ovations at each concert and offering sincere words of thanks.
Thank you for sharing the hope found in Jesus with those who desperately need it!
