Giving Tuesday

Giving Tuesday is December 1! If you're trying to decide who you'd like to support, the WCIC staff wants to help. Here are eight ministries the staff believes in. (Click each logo to learn more!)

Chris chose Living Alternatives Pregnancy Resource Center. They help women all over Central Illinois, providing pregnancy help, adoption support, and many other programs.

Tonya chose St. Jude. Their vision is that no child is denied treatment based on race, religion, or a family’s ability to pay. They treat and defeat childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases.

Britt chose Family House Peoria. Family House provides affordable, home-like accommodations for families of patients or individuals receiving health care services in the Peoria area.

Rick chose the humanitarian organization, Convoy of Hope. When there is a disaster, Convoy of Hope steps in to help.

Leesa chose Esther House, a division of Peoria Rescue Ministries. Esther House provides a safe place for women and their dependent children.

Mark's pick is Dream Center Peoria, a place that focuses on taking care of women, children, and families in the Peoria area and pointing them to Jesus.

Station Manager Joe B. has chosen Compassion International, which provides child sponsorship. Their mission is to release children from poverty in Jesus' name.

Jessie has picked Angel Tree, a program of Prison Fellowship. Angel Tree provides children who have an incarcerated parent with a Christmas gift that reminds them they are loved and valued.

Sharing hope in Jesus... one song, one conversation, one heart at a time.
