Community Engagement Intern
This intern will learn a variety of aspects of promotions including brainstorming, coordinating volunteers, creating promotional materials, assisting in station events, and interacting with listeners through email and phones. Responsibilities include managing the Family Calendar and Prayer Center on the Web site, mailing prizes, and assisting with various tasks and projects to develop listenership. Interest in marketing/promotions and a desire to further the station's mission of sharing hope in Jesus are ideal characteristics.
Internship candidates must be enrolled in undergraduate or graduate courses in radio, communication, marketing, journalism, public relations, or another related program. Fall and spring internships are 12-16 week programs, and summer internships are 10-12 week programs. Internships are part-time and unpaid but may be taken for credit hours.
Social Media Intern
This intern will assist in designing images for social media, doing trending/analytics research, making updates to the Web site, and related tasks. Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop is beneficial but not required. Efficient, knowledgeable use of social media is needed.

Volunteer
Volunteering gives you an opportunity to learn more about WCIC as you serve. It also gives us an opportunity to get to know you. Volunteers help in the front office, with maintenance projects, with fundraisers, and with concerts and events.
