Responsibilities include managing the Family Calendar and Prayer Center on the Web site, publishing new music, and assisting with various tasks and projects to develop listenership. Interest in communications, promotions, and listener engagement as well as a desire to further the station's mission of sharing hope in Jesus are ideal characteristics for this intern.
Internship candidates must show a desire to learn and execute various aspects in radio including having strong listening and communication skills, writing skills, public relations, computer skills, and being comfortable sharing their faith and testimony with individuals and the community. Fall and spring internships are 12-16-week programs, and summer internships are 10-12-week programs. Internships are part-time, paid $15 an hour, and may also receive credit hours if needed.
Business Sponsors Intern
This intern will gain experience in project management. Business partners and donors are connected through our Team40 program. Business sponsors give 10% off services to our Team40 donors. The whole program needs a makeover, and we need a project minded people-person to help us out. Our recent logo change means our Business sponsors need new display pieces to identify their business as a Team40 sponsor. The website and on-air scripts need updating and revision. There is also a need to update and bring current our entire list of business sponsors.
Internship candidates need good planning and organizational skills, writing skills, computer skills, and being comfortable calling businesses and the ability to work independently as well as with a team. Fall and spring internships are 12-16-week programs, and summer internships are 10-12-week programs. Internships are part-time, paid $15 an hour, and may also receive credit hours if needed.
