Let's Shine Our Light Together

If you’ve ever been to a Christmas Eve candlelight service, you’ve seen the beauty and power of so many small candles in one place. What amazes me is how it all starts out so dark until one match brings light to one candle. Then, in just a few quick moments, the whole sanctuary is filled with light as each person shares their light with their neighbor.

That’s what our life as followers of Jesus is like. Jesus came to earth as the true Light of the World, laying down His life so we can be made right with God. He passed His light on to His first disciples; then the disciples shared that light, and here we are 2,000 years later, still passing His light to those around us. Every little light making a difference in dark places.

But there are still people who don’t know Christ or who are far from Him. Who are living in darkness. People who believe there is no hope or that they are beyond redemption. WCIC is committed to sharing the light of Jesus and spreading that hope far and wide. And we need you to shine your light as well! Just like you might have sung in Sunday school, “This little light of mine, I’m gonna let it shine!”

“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. Matthew 5:14-15

WCIC's spring fundraiser is coming up March 7- 10. Would you consider partnering with us financially as we continue to share His light with our community? We would be honored if you would pray about joining our financial support team.

The most popular giving level is TEAM40, $40/month in ongoing support. WCIC is listener-supported, and your gift matters.

We are excited to have you join us in shining HIS light to those around us. When we all shine our light together, what a difference we can make!

Thank you so much for letting your light shine as we share the hope we have in Jesus!
