"Whether you are in the middle of something difficult right now or you've come out the other side, our prayer is that our new song, 'Won't Let Me Go,' will be a passionate reminder that God will never leave you nor forsake you. You're going to go through difficult things and some days you're going to feel like you have no answers. Other days you're going to want to give up, but his promise remains, nothing can separate us from the love of God. Writing this song was a little like writing our own testimonies and I know that personally for me through twenty years of ministry, nineteen years of marriage, twenty-two moves, and a long story of both incredibly difficult seasons and also incredibly wonderful ones, the constant that I saw was how God had been there through everything. He was there in both the good times and the bad. Though there were certain moments in my life I doubted both my calling and my faith, I know that when we were in our darkest times, God's mercy was at its deepest. His patience was endless and his love was unchanging. Whether you sing this song as a testimony or you sing it out of a desperate place, our hope is that you can sing these words with faith and assurance that you know and believe He will never let you go."
