When I started at WCIC as a Office Manager intern in the summer of 2007, I had no idea God would have given me the privilege of continuing my journey here at WCIC for so many years to come! After continuing to work part time in the office and as an on air host after my internship finished, I graduated from college in December 2008 and in the process also graduated with my position at WCIC and came on board full time! Over the years I’ve transitioned back to a part time position at WCIC as an on air host as I’ve gone full time at my church as their Director of Worship Ministries, and I’m so grateful. Grateful that I get to worship Jesus in both of my work places and that I can work with such wonderful people, in the process!
When I think of what I’m most passionate about I think of 2 main things: Loving Jesus and helping people know they’re loved by Jesus. My hope is that whether it’s when I’m on the radio at WCIC or when I’m preparing for the music ministry on Sunday mornings at my church and leading worship there that I’m growing and stretching in my faith personally, along with loving on the people around me and showing them how deeply and dearly they’re also loved by God!
When I’m not at my church or at WCIC, I’m typically doing one of a few things: Sharing coffee or a meal with someone I love, working out at the gym, or reading and studying because I’m working on a 2 year program to be certified as a Spiritual Director! Ya, maybe I should build in some naps somewhere in there too, haha! Truly though, grateful for this season of my life and where God has me! Just wanna go and do what He most wants for me and so far I’m enjoying the journey and grateful for what He’s teaching me each step of the way.
