Morning Show Co-Host

Hi! I'm Lindsey, and I'm pinching myself right now because I can't believe I work here! WCIC is my childhood radio station. My mom always had it playing in our white minivan, and I remember thinking, "I want to be on the radio when I grow up too!"

Fast forward 25 years, and WCIC is still broadcasting the hope and joy of Jesus, and I AM HERE FOR IT! (praise hands emoji). I'm the oldest of three girls, and there was lots of talking in our home growing up (my poor dad), so I had plenty of talking practice. My only detention ever was, you guessed it, for talking. I used to "play radio" when I was a kid and basically still feel like I'm playing every day on the morning show now.

I graduated college from Lincoln Christian University, got engaged to my husband, Adam, got married to him, and had two cutie pie girls all while living those major life moments out on air. I really did grow up on the radio, and I'm always so thankful for how kind you listeners are, my goodness, heaven bless it!

So now I'm mommy to Ruby (5) and Remy (2). After I get done with the show in the mornings, I drive home and am mom for the rest of the day. I spend my days getting snacks for the girls, coloring, watching Puppy Dog Pals, getting snacks, cleaning up messes, playing tag, getting snacks, playing play doh, reading, and... did I mention getting snacks?

My life hasn't been without pain and grief, but I do choose to believe in my favorite Bible verse, Proverbs 17:22: "A merry heart does good, like medicine, but a broken spirit dries the bones." I believe you find what you look for. And I try to find the joy and cheer and celebration in each day. I hope you can find those things today too!
