Life can be complex and feel overwhelming.
It’s easy to become isolated in the middle of the swirl, feel disconnected from others, from God, and maybe even from who you really are. Everyone deserves to know they are loved by God and that they are never alone.
We understand life can be hard. We live it too. This is why WCIC has been building community for more than 36 years. As you listen, you'll feel less isolated and overwhelmed. You’ll become more grounded in your faith and receive tools for deeper relationships. You’ll be more connected to others and to God right in the middle of all the chaos. And you can share this hope with others.
The Marriage Celebration
Over the past five years, more than 1,000 couples received encouragement during WCIC's Marriage Celebration in February. Sold-out events held in Metamora and Springfield are attended by couples throughout the WCIC community.
Prayer Center
More than 20,000 people indicate they've prayed for someone through the Prayer Center on WCIC's website each year. And now the new website design allows you to share your needs AND YOUR PRAISES! And every time you indicate you've prayed for someone, they will receive an email notification of encouragement to remind them they aren't alone.
Been Tipped Over
You continue to show God’s love through BeenTippedOver.com. You’ve brought tears of joy to restaurant servers all over the country surprised by the unexpected generosity!
Trips to Israel
In recent years, WCIC has lead four teams of listeners on a journey to the Holy Lands. Travelers have shared what an incredible impact it's made to see the Bible come to life.
Concerts
We got to wrap up the summer with concerts with Sanctus Real, Danny Gokey, and Mac Powell! Every year, WCIC presents and promotes local concerts with many of the artists you hear on the radio.
Financial Peace University
Groups met in Peoria, Springfield, and Bloomington for WCIC's Financial Peace University. Over nine weeks, 300 people paid off more than $300,000 in debt.
Prison Concerts
In 2017, your donations made an UNSPOKEN concert possible at Logan Correctional Center. About 800 ladies attended! Then in 2018, you made TWO concerts possible in area prisons: Carrollton at Logan and UNSPOKEN at Taylorville. In 2019, hope was shared with men at Hill Correctional Center in Galesburg and Jacksonville Correctional Center, again thanks to you! More than 2,000 men and women in prison have been impacted by your love, along with the wardens, corrections officers, and staff.
Operation Christmas Child
In 2017, close to 700 children in developing nations were shown the love of Jesus through shoeboxes you packed with Operation Christmas Child. That’s just the number dropped off at the WCIC studios. Many more were dropped off at churches throughout the community.
The Right Song / Right Time
WCIC hears countless stories of how you heard the right song at the right time. God uses your donations and the music of WCIC artists to reach nearly 100,000 listening hearts every week.
You are part of this WCIC community.
Thank you for sharing the HOPE you've found with others by supporting the ministry of WCIC.
