Midday Mama Tonya Davis

Hi, I’m Tonya Davis—a wife, mother, and devoted follower of Jesus. My husband, Jeremie, works at Samaritan Ministries and serves as the worship leader at our local church. Together, we share a deep love for music, theater, and, most importantly, Christ. We’re blessed with two wonderful sons: C.J., who is currently in college, and Gabriel, who is navigating high school.

I graduated from Illinois State University with a degree in education and spent 17 years teaching in the classroom. Then, in 2018, God opened a new door and called me to a different kind of teaching—on the airwaves! Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine working in radio, let alone at WCIC, but God’s plans are often far beyond what we can envision.

I’ve been a loyal WCIC listener for years, cherishing the uplifting music and inspiring voices. Joining the team has been an incredible blessing. Each member of the WCIC family has a genuine heart for God, worship, and serving our communities, and I’m honored to be part of such a ministry.

Whether through my family, music, work, or community, I love finding ways to serve and glorify God. Being part of the WCIC family is a dream come true, and I’m so excited to share this journey with you!
