Tyler Millar, public information officer and firefighter with the Chillicothe Fire Department, is using his heart for service and his passion for inclusivity to make a real difference. With over 20 years of experience in media and emergency services, Tyler is leading the charge in raising autism awareness—deeply inspired by his daughter Millie, who has cerebral palsy. He’s on a mission to create safer, more understanding spaces for all families, especially those with special needs.
Join Tyler and the Chillicothe community for the 3rd Annual Autism Awareness Educational Event this Saturday, April 12, from noon to 3 pm at the Chillicothe Fire Department. Come enjoy a sensory-friendly day filled with educational resources, fire truck tours, first responder meet-and-greets, a vendor showcase of disability-owned businesses, and encouraging connections. Let’s stand together in support, inclusion, and awareness—because every story matters. Find out more about the “Fired Up” event here.
