Olivia Strawn

Hi there! I’m Olivia Strawn, and I get the joy of hanging out with you Sunday nights from 9 pm-midnight on WCIC. I also serve as the Broadcast and Engagement Assistant and help run our social media—so you’ll see me around in more ways than one!

I was born and raised in East Peoria and studied Communications at Illinois Central College. During a class project, I created a press release and sent it to a few local stations—never expecting anything to come of it … but WCIC responded, offered me an internship, and the rest is history. I truly didn’t see radio coming, but God clearly did and now I am on staff as part-time. I fell in love with the chance to encourage others and share His hope through music and conversation. Now I get to call this ministry home, and I’m so thankful for it.

When I’m not at the station, I’m usually outside soaking up the sunshine on a golf course or softball field, catching up with friends and family, or doing a little shopping with an iced coffee in hand.
