A Memorial Concert will be held in memory of Lin Waller from Augusta, Illinois, who passed away suddenly on April 10th, 2023. Lin’s favorite Gospel Group was Karen Peck and New River from Dahlonega, Georgia. The Southern Gospel group is known all over the world for their success. They have had over 20 #1 hit songs. Karen Peck and New River have also received countless awards, including nine Dove Awards and six Grammy nominations. Karen is a Gospel Music Hall of Fame member and voted Favorite Soprano by the Singing News Fan Awards. She was the first woman to be named President of the Southern Gospel Music Association.
Rev. Joe Arview from Benton, Illinois will be a Special Guest singer. Joe is an Evangelist, singer, and guitarist. He travels full-time in the Ministry. His country style of music is loved by all.
This Lin Waller Memorial Concert will begin at 6:30 pm with doors open at 5:30 pm.
