Join Herbal Educator and Clinical Herbalist, Amanda Norris, as we explore the meadow at Sandy Glen Farm in Prophetstown IL in search of wild medicinal plants! We will cover how to identify, where to find, and some common uses for a variety of local medicinal herbs. Then we will head to the outdoor kitchen to discuss the basics of making herbal medicine. Participants will each make their own medicinal oil infusion, vinegar extract or tincture. Spaces are limited to make sure everyone has opportunity to interact directly with the plants and the group, so a non-refundable $15 deposit is required to reserve your spot.
