This song by Passion, featuring Kristian Stanfill, “Even So Come," reminds me that Christ’s appearing is coming soon. It challenges me, actually, to search my heart. Is this my cry today? Am I truly ready for Christ to return? Is my heart pure and holy before Him? Am I living out the faith that He would be pleased with? Have I been diligent in His call on my life? Am I living in such a way that I will be blameless through Christ’s righteousness?
If my answer to any of these questions is no, then I need to seek God’s forgiveness and ask Him to shine His light in my life that I may see where I need to change. Then I will be able to proclaim, “Even so come!” Whether I am ready or not, Christ is returning, and based on the shape the world is in, I believe it is sooner than we think. If you don’t have a personal relationship with Him today, I encourage you to answer His call!
