Do you remember as a child being afraid of the dark? As your imagination ran away with you, so sure that you heard something under your bed or saw movement in the closet?

I remember as a parent, walking into my child’s room and seeing that fear on their face. And often all I had to do was turn on the light and say, see? There’s nothing to be afraid of. Daddy’s here. That creepy shadow in the corner was just your teddy bear.

Darkness can be very deceiving and hides the truth. But when we shine the Light of God’s truth in our lives, there’s a whole lot less to be afraid of!

 That’s what you did during our Spring Fundraiser. You turned the lights on just a little bit brighter for our community. Your gift helps people see a little clearer. We don’t have to be afraid. Our Father’s here.
