I love to garden, read, DIY, and recently, finally achieved my dream of owning chickens! You could definitely say I’m a country girl. I have two kiddos who are growing up all too quickly but are a true gift and blessing.
I grew up in a Christian household, but as a teenager, truly began to understand what it means to be a follower of Jesus. Music has been a big part of that journey. Being raised in a musical family, music has always had a big role to play in my life. Whether it is leading worship at my church, or listening to some of my favorites at home, I know the power that music has in our lives. Music has a way of connecting us to God that no other medium can.
From my late teen years, I knew I wanted to be in ministry and share the hope of Jesus with others. That calling has taken many different forms over the years, but in 2018, it led me to Christian radio. Growing up listening to WBGL, WCIC’s sister station, radio seemed like a great fit! I’m so thankful for this opportunity to connect with people over the airwaves at WCIC and to play music that shares the hope we have in Jesus every day!
